VirtualSMS (virtualsms.io) is a receive-only virtual number service paid for with crypto. It runs as a web dashboard and a Telegram bot, with developer access via REST API, webhooks and an MCP server.
Two offers, one balance:
- Verifications — one-off numbers for a single SMS activation code, from unknown per code. These are pooled numbers released after use; over 2,500 services are supported.
- Rentals — a dedicated real carrier-SIM number only you use, bookable by the day, week or month (a 30-day rental in the Czech Republic costs unknown). Extending before expiry keeps the same number.
Pay per delivered code: an activation stays open for unknown minutes; if no SMS arrives in that window, the charge is refunded to your balance automatically. Rentals can be cancelled within 20 minutes before the first SMS arrives, and unused balance stays spendable across all products.
Payments: crypto top-ups (BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, LTC among others) plus local bank rails such as SBP where available, processed by third-party providers. Minimum deposits start at 2.50 USD.
KYC: no identity documents required per the provider — sign-up is with email and a deposit (no KYC limits are published).
Codes arrive in the dashboard, via API/webhook or in the Telegram bot, usually within seconds. Support is available by email, live chat and Telegram.
