2ndNumber (getsecondnumber.com) rents virtual VoIP second numbers for the United States, United Kingdom and Canada by monthly subscription — there are no one-off activations. Four packages are offered (Single, Basic, Pro and Biz); the cheapest, Single, costs 9.00 EUR per month, and every subscription can be cancelled at any time. Numbers stay active through automatic monthly renewal.
The numbers receive SMS and calls, with call forwarding and voicemail; incoming text messages arrive in the dashboard, by email and in the app. 2ndNumber runs as a web app and as iOS and Android apps.
No identity verification is required to get a number — the provider states this itself, and no verification limits are published. Payments are accepted in Bitcoin and Ethereum as well as by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Refunds are restrictive: fee disputes must be raised within 14 days, refunds are issued only as account credit — never cash — and disputes older than 30 days get nothing.
